Checklist for Ancillary Probate
The following documents are typically needed to open a testate Florida ancillary probate:
- Court authenticated copy of:
- Decedent's last will
- Petition for Probate
- Order admitting the will to probate (If testate)
- Letters of administration
- Three Original Death Certificates
- If not set forth in the Petition for Probate, name, address, and social security number of all beneficiaries
- Copy of deed
- Copy of tax bill
- Inventory of Florida property
